AC Transit
The Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District is better known as AC Transit. AC Transit serves 13 cities and adjacent unincorporated areas in the East Bay from Richmond to Fremont, and operates 138 local bus lines within the East Bay and 31 Transbay bus lines across the bridges to San Francisco and the Peninsula. AC Transit buses connect with nine other public and private transit systems, 21 BART stations, six Amtrak stations, and three ferry terminals. It is the third largest all-bus system in California.

Angel Island/Tiburon Ferry
The Angel Island/Tiburon Ferry provides ferry service from Tiburon to Angel Island.
BART
Caltrain
Caltrain operates weekday trains between San Francisco and San Jose, with commute-hour service to Gilroy. Weekend service is offered from San Francisco to San Jose.
Capitol Corridor
Capitol Corridor is an intercity passenger train system that serves 18 stations along its 170-mile route, and offers frequent service between Sacramento, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Silicon Valley/San Jose. Connections to BART are available at the Oakland Coliseum and Richmond Intermodal Stations. Discounted rates are available for frequent travelers, and free transfers are available for many local transit systems.
Commute.org
Commute.org manages over 20 routes that provide first/last mile shuttle service between transit stations, worksites and residential areas in San Mateo County. The shuttle program is funded by grants from local agencies as well as contributions from private employers and sponsoring cities. Commute.org is San Mateo County’s TDM agency.
County Connection
County Connection (Central Contra Costa Transit Authority, or CCCTA) provides transit service within central Contra Costa County with connections to Pleasanton and Antioch. The bus routes serve Clayton, Concord, Danville, Lafayette, Martinez, Moraga, Orinda, Pleasant Hill, San Ramon, Walnut Creek, and unincorporated areas of Central County. Formed in 1980, County Connection has grown from a fleet of 12 small buses to more than 120 ramp/wheelchair lift-equipped buses.
Dumbarton Express
The Dumbarton Express service consists of two bus lines, the DB and DB1. It is administered and governed by AC Transit, with oversight by the Dumbarton Bridge Regional Operations Consortium (DBROC), comprised of AC Transit, Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA), BART, SamTrans, and Union City Transit.
Emery Go-Round
A free and frequent shuttle connecting Emeryville's employers and shopping centers with the MacArthur BART station. Service is provided 7 days a week. The Emery Go-Round is funded by commercial property owners in the citywide Emeryville Property Improvement District and is a service of the Emeryville Transportation Management Association.
FAST
Provides local transit service in the Solano County city of Fairfield (which consists of the Travis Airforce Base and the Cordelia Village Area). FAST also operates routes that connect Fairfield to the outlying cities of Vacaville, Dixon, Davis, Sacramento and Walnut Creek.
Golden Gate Ferry
Golden Gate Ferry provides daily ferry service between Larkspur or Sausalito (Marin County) and San Francisco.
Golden Gate Transit
Golden Gate Transit provides daily bus service in Marin, Sonoma, San Francisco, and Contra Costa counties.
LAVTA (Wheels)
Marin Transit
Marin Transit provides daily local bus, community shuttle, West Marin Stagecoach, and paratransit services within Marin County.
Mission Bay TMA
Mission Bay Transportation Management Association is a non-profit organization committed to maximizing access and mobility to, from, and within the Mission Bay development area of San Francisco.
MVgo
MVgo is a service of the Mountain View Transportation Management Association (MTMA), a nonprofit membership organization funded by Mountain View businesses and property owners for the purpose of reducing traffic on Mountain View streets for the benefit of the community.
Petaluma Transit
Presidio GO Shuttle
The Presidio GO Shuttle offers visitors, employees, and residents free daily service to and around the San Francisco Presidio.
The shuttle has two routes: the Downtown Route and the South Hills Route.
Rio Vista Delta Breeze
Rio Vista Delta Breeze is a regional transit system that offers deviated fixed-route bus service within the City of Rio Vista and between Isleton, Rio Vista, Fairfield, and Suisun City. The bus actually comes to your door!
Transit services are provided Monday through Friday, from 5:00 AM to 7:30 PM. There is no service on weekends and holidays.
SamTrans
San Mateo County Transit District provides SamTrans bus service throughout San Mateo County and into parts of San Francisco and Palo Alto. The transit district also offers Redi-Wheels paratransit service for persons with disabilities who are unable to ride SamTrans.
San Francisco Bay Ferry
San Francisco Bay Ferry provides ferry service between: Alameda/Oakland and San Francisco; Alameda/Oakland and South San Francisco; Harbor Bay and San Francisco; and Vallejo and San Francisco.
San Francisco Bay Ferry is operated by the San Francisco Bay Area Water Emergency Transportation Authority.
San Francisco International Airport (SFO)
The San Francisco International Airport (SFO) operates an on-campus automated people-mover (AirTrain). AirTrain operates two routes, the Blue Line and the Red Line. The Blue Line makes it easy to connect from the Rental Car Center to and from all terminals, Domestic & International Parking Garages, and the Grand Hyatt at SFO. The Red Line runs in a continual loop connecting all terminals, Domestic & International Parking Garages, and the Grand Hyatt at SFO.
Santa Rosa CityBus
Santa Rosa CityBus operates 17 regular routes, primarily within the City of Santa Rosa. Hours of operation are 6:00 AM to 8:25 PM Monday through Friday; 6:00 AM to 8:15 PM on Saturday; and 10:00 AM to 5:15 PM on Sunday.
SFMTA (Muni)
Founded in 1912, the San Francisco Municipal Railway (Muni) is one of America's oldest public transit agencies, and today, it carries over 200 million riders per year. Muni provides transit service within the city and county of San Francisco 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Operating historic streetcars, modern light rail vehicles, diesel buses, alternative fuel vehicles, electric trolley coaches, and the world-famous cable cars, Muni's fleet is among the most diverse in the world.
SMART
Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit (SMART) is the Bay Area’s newest passenger rail service, providing a safe, reliable, and congestion-free transportation option for Marin and Sonoma counties. The 45-mile system includes stations in the Sonoma County Airport area, Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park, Cotati, Petaluma, Novato, San Rafael, and Larkspur. Future extensions are planned for Windsor, Healdsburg, and Cloverdale, completing the vision for a full 70-mile system.
SolTrans
SolTrans provides local and express bus service to the Solano County cities of Vallejo, Benicia, and Fairfield, and Suisun City with express bus service connecting to the Contra Costa County communities of El Cerrito, Pleasant Hill and Walnut Creek at BART stations. Nine local fixed routes serve Vallejo, five limited service routes operate during school in-service dates within Vallejo and Benicia, and two express routes connect Benicia and Vallejo to surrounding areas.
Sonoma County Transit
Sonoma County Transit provides intercity bus service in Sonoma County and local service in Rohnert Park, Cotati, Guerneville, Sebastopol, Sonoma, and Windsor.
South City Shuttle
The South City Shuttle is a free shuttle service in South San Francisco. The shuttles operate Monday through Friday, offering free service throughout the City, with stops at local stores, senior centers, libraries, City Hall, and parks. The shuttle also provides transit connections with SamTrans and BART.
Treasure Island Ferry
The Treasure Island Ferry provides service between downtown San Francisco to Treasure Island and Yerba Buena Island.
Tri Delta Transit
Tri Delta Transit provides over 2,500,000 trips each year to a population of nearly 315,000 residents in the 225 square miles of Eastern Contra Costa County. Tri Delta Transit operates 14 local bus routes Monday-Friday, 4 local bus routes on weekends, on-demand ride share service Tri MyRide, Express Route 300 commuter route, and a paratransit door-to-door bus service for senior and disabled individuals.
Union City Transit
Union City Transit is Union City's own bus system operating within the city limits. Routes are coordinated with BART trains, AC Transit, and the Dumbarton Express to areas outside of the City. Main transfer points are at the Union City BART station and Union Landing Transit Center.
Vacaville City Coach
Vacaville City Coach operates five local fixed routes, ensuring comprehensive coverage across the City of Vacaville (Solano County).
Most routes begin and end at the Vacaville Transportation Center, and operate for roughly 11 hours a day, Monday through Friday, starting between 7:00 AM and 7:30 AM. Some routes offer Saturday service starting at 8:30 AM. There is no Sunday service.
Vine
Vine Transit is Napa Valley's bus service, providing safe, affordable, and convenient travel to residents, workers, and visitors. The Vine offers local fixed-route and on-demand services, community shuttles, paratransit service, and regional express bus service to BART, Amtrak, and the San Francisco Bay Ferry in Vallejo.
VTA
The Valley Transportation Agency (VTA) provides service throughout Santa Clara County and partners with other systems for bus and rail service between Santa Clara County and the counties of Alameda, Santa Cruz, San Mateo, and San Francisco. VTA's 520+ vehicle bus fleet serves a 326-square-mile urbanized area. The 28.6-mile light rail system is operated with a fleet of 50 cars.
WestCAT
WestCAT is a service of the Western Contra Costa Transit Authority, which provides local, express, and regional transit service to the cities of Pinole and Hercules and the unincorporated communities of Montalvin Manor, Tara Hills, Bayview, Rodeo, Crockett, and Port Costa.
