Capitol Corridor

Capitol Corridor is an intercity passenger train system that serves 18 stations along its 170-mile route, and offers frequent service between Sacramento, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Silicon Valley/San Jose. Connections to BART are available at the Oakland Coliseum and Richmond Intermodal Stations. Discounted rates are available for frequent travelers, and free transfers are available for many local transit systems.

The Capitol Corridor Joint Powers Authority (CCJPA) oversees the Capitol Corridor. The San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART) manages daily operations, while service planning and delivery involve input from Amtrak, Caltrans, and other partners.
