All Sonoma County Transit buses are wheelchair lift-equipped and can transport two wheelchair passengers at a time. Upon request, drivers are happy to provide assistance but are not allowed to physically lift passengers or wheelchairs. Sonoma County Transit participates in the Regional Transit Connection Discount Card. Program (RTC) which allows people with disabilities, seniors, and certain veterans to ride at reduced fares on all Bay Area transportation systems. Individuals who travel with a service animal will have a service animal symbol marked on their card. To apply for an RTC Discount Card, call (707) 585.7516 and ask for a brochure and application to be mailed to you. If you have a sight, hearing, or speech communication disability, bus identification kits are available free of charge. The bus identification kit is pocket sized and contains cards with large numbers indicating the route you wish to travel. Kits are also available in braille. Call Sonoma County Transit for more information about a bus identification kit.
